Lately my life has been pretty chaotic to say the least. Between my wonderful new job working at Lululemon (with some amazing people), school work, graduate school applications, and teaching yoga I have a very packed schedule these days. While I may not be feeling my very best at the moment due to a head cold, I have to say that I am absolutely loving my new life and choice for my career. It is amazing how many things have just fallen into place since I made the decision to leave my […] Continue reading →

45 Min Killer Circuit Workout large

If you haven’t tried my deck of cards circuit workout you really need to! Find a time sometime this week or weekend to set aside about an hour to an hour and a half and I promise you will be crawling your way back to your car it is such a good workout. My favorite part about this workout is that it keeps things creative while really taking you outside of your comfort zone. In my own personal fitness experience I have always gravitated to the types of fitness that I feel comfortable in […] Continue reading →

met gala

The Met Gala is often called fashion’s Oscars, where every famous Oscar star and fashions most influential names all come together on one night. I pretty much only ever watch award shows to see the fashion choices the celebs will be stepping onto the Red Carpet in, and while the Met Gala isn’t exactly an awards show it has just as much hype in the fashion world. There were definitely a lot of amazing and not so amazing choices in my mind this year. Here are my favorites for best […] Continue reading →

I was really feeling like an intense cardio workout at lunch time but I didn’t have too much time so I decided to head on down to our company gym and bang out a quick and dirty treadmill workout that would be sure to kick my butt! I have been all about the interval workouts lately since they are proven to work you just as hard as a consistent speed workout in half the time. Basically, you will get better results in a workout the includes 1 minute of rest with 1 minute of high […] Continue reading →

I have never actually really gotten into the show “The Biggest Loser” but this year I did manage to catch a few episodes and was actually pretty surprised by what I saw. Before watching the show I had heard all of the different controversial opinions surrounding the premise of the show but didn’t really have an opinion of my own until I saw a few episodes. I thought that I was going to be disgusted by yet another reality TV show, but instead I actually found it to be […] Continue reading →

just do it

Life has been a little bit crazy the past two weeks and I unfortunately have to admit that I haven’t been getting in as many workouts as I should be. However, all of that is going to change this week as I kick my butt back into a steady routine. It is amazing to me how addicted to exercise I can get when I am in a solid workout routine, however if I ever fall of the bandwagon it can sometimes seem impossible to really get back into a good workout flow. With the hot weather and beach […] Continue reading →

bold shelving

While the white, neutral, beach inspired tones may be for the most part my interior design color palette of choice, I can absolutely appreciate and enjoy some bold pops of color. Actually one of the main reasons why I love the color white so much is because it allows for so many more opportunities when it comes to accents and upholstery. You can do anything with a blank canvas, which is somewhat how I envision a white wall or room. Here are some excellent inspiration pieces on how you can […] Continue reading →

irish green cake

Since Saint Patty’s Day is coming up this weekend and I will be spending it in probably the most Irish area of the United States with one of the most Irish people I know (my boyfriend Mike whose friends all call him “Irish” and who loves Guinness more than anyone I have ever met). I have been scouring the web and magazines for great Irish treats to make this Saint Patty’s Day filled to the brim with everything Irish. My book of Guinness Recipes that I picked up with […] Continue reading →

Since tonight I have my third teacher training class I figured it was probably about time that I re-capped last weeks class. I am absolutely going to get better about re-capping the classes right after starting this week! Last week we met with a new instructor named Stephanie who has been teaching yoga for over ten years. She had a great southern accent and was very knowledgeable of all the different types of yoga that the first hour and a half long lecture really did go by quickly. She […] Continue reading →
