I believe that it is really important to set goals in our lives so that we one day don’t wake up and wish we had done more. It is important to feel proud of ourselves, like what we are doing and how we are living is making a difference…changing us for the better. I have been known for setting some demanding goals for myself at times, but that is only because I expect a lot from myself. I like to push myself because usually what I think I am capable of is far less than what I actually am capable of.
Here are my goals I am working on:
Run a marathon every two years
Run five half marathons
Get Into Graduate School Fall 2013
Get a Doctorate in Nutrition
Become a Registered Dietician
Work in a developing country in aiding children who are at risk for malnutrition
Become a Certified Yoga Instructor in June 2012
Do Yoga on top of a mountain
Do Yoga at Sunrise on the beach
Take a photography class
Paint 10 paintings
Swim in a new ocean/sea
Learn a new language
Do 100 hours of community service
Read 50 books
Go skiing on ten mountains in 2013-2014
Hike 50 different trails in New England
Travel to a new destination outside of the country
Travel to a new destination inside of the country
Take my Mom and Dad on a trip
Save $20,000
