When I moved abroad the one thing I knew I had to do was go skiing in the Swiss Alps. Since I grew up in New England my sisters and I learned how to ski when we were each around 5 years old, but the White and Green mountains (which are where we ski in New England) I knew were going to be very different from the Swiss Alps. You know the phrase the “sun is always shining above the clouds”. It has kind of grown into being a mantra of mine over the years.
